WLIS & WMRD CONTEST RULES
All WLIS & WMRD Contests are open to any/all WLIS & WMRD listeners who are U.S. residents living or working in the WLIS & WMRD listening area unless otherwise specified by WLIS & WMRD.
Only one qualifier or winner per family or household per contest. The decision of WLIS & WMRD is final.
Individuals may participate in any contest on behalf of another individual at the sole discretion of WLIS & WMRD management. Prizes cannot be substituted or transferred.
Employees of Crossroads Communications, LLC & Crossroads Communications of Old Saybrook, LLC; its advertising agencies; participating advertisers and businesses; their affiliates, representatives; other media (radio, TV, cable, newspaper); and their families or households are ineligible to enter/win any contest(s) held in conjunction with WLIS & WMRD Radio.
Winners must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise stated; winner must sign affidavit/contest rules/w9 tax form/waiver before receiving a prize.
Participants may participate in WLIS & WMRD contests only if they have not won a WLIS & WMRD contest in the past 30 days.
If a WLIS & WMRD contest involves filling out an entry blank at a participating business, then only one entry per person, per business location, will be allowed. Multiple entries from one individual at any single location will result in the disqualification of all entries from that individual.
All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of prize acceptance, that WLIS & WMRD has the right to publicize and/or broadcast his/her name, character, likeness, voice, or all matters incidental herein.
All contest statutes and provisions of The State of Connecticut and the U.S. Federal Government, including Federal Communications Commission restrictions, apply to all contests. All contest entries become the property of Crossroads Communications, LLC & Crossroads Communications of Old Saybrook, LLC
It is the sole responsibility of any winner receiving cash or prizes during any calendar year to file appropriate tax forms with the IRS and pay any related taxes due on their winnings. Winners agree that they are responsible for any/all taxes incurred on prizes received from WLIS & WMRD.
All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law.
