Best of the Valley Shoreline

 Your host, Don DeCesare, brings you a casual half hour of chat with guests representing activities and organizations in the River Valley and on the Shoreline.  Here's where you'll hear about both the better  known and the lesser known people and attractions that make the Connecticut Shoreline such a delightful place to live.

Don is not only a radio broadcast host, he's also  the owner and CEO of WLIS/WMRD, which  he took over in 1996.  He spent years in big time broadcasting in New York City at CBS, where he went from editing radio broadcasts to overseeing television news coverage. 

Despite all that big time excitement and glamour, he looked forward to getting back to his  roots, to Connecticut, and to radio, which he did after 24 great years at CBS.  "Best of the Valley/ Shore" gives him a chance to do what he does best  - talk to people, make them at ease, elicit information and  broadcast information, "Magically, mystically, digitally".
